About me
Summer R. Cunningham, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Communication and Chair of the Women's and Gender Studies department at SUNY
Oneonta. She is interested in social justice and transformation, relationality, and human connection. The politics of motherhood is a central focus of her scholarship. She employs creative, performative, and experimental methods with the aim of garnering interest in social issues for which people are either disinterested or do not see themselves as stakeholders.
