IAMAS: (Re-)Producing Mothering, Motherwork, and Motherhood

Hi, I am currently an Undergraduate Student attending SUNY Oneonta. I dual-major in Women Gender Studies & Sociology with a minor in History. Once I graduate, I hope to be able to continue my academic career further with a PhD. My research generally is invested in gender, class, and history. In regards to hopefully my academic future, I am interested in studying the experiences of mothers in America through a historical and feminist perspective. I will be moderating a panel or two at IAMAS and I am so excited to learn about this field. Some of you may know Dr. Summer Cunningham, who serves as an IAMAS Board Member, she is my professor and for the Fall 2025 semester I will be doing an Independent Study with her regarding this field!
